i am having trouble moving files from the ipad to my pc

The easiest way I have found is to install DropBox on your iPad, iDevice, computers. Set up a DropBox account, log in on each device, then load up files in the DropBox folder on your computer, wait for it to sync (5 minutes) and all your files are on your iPad.

Hi John,
Thanks very much. Although this will work, I have several hundred MB of photos and videos to move. Is there anyway to connect the ipad via USB and move files as you would from one HDD to another?

You would need an iPad app to move files to USB. I have not used such an app, so I will need to look around.

Your help has saved me hundreds of hours of internet surfing.
