Azure Virtual Machine User Login not working

Hi

In Azure I set up a user in the Active Directory as shown in the first image below then I assigned a role as "virtual machine user login"
as shown in the second image. When I try to sign in using a remote desktop login I get an error. Have I missed something?

how you are connecting to VM ?

click the Vm -preconnect on the top - it'll create RDP connection shortcut... save it... and use it it connect   all the best

Does the built in user account that you entered while the VM deployment work?

The main admin user account works

the AD account should be assigned to VM login account.  You have only assigned the user role,
