Accounts "STILL Signed IN" after looking at "Web - HISTORY" and "PINNED Tabs"...

Hello Community MEMBERS…

I have a Question:

Went to "Web-HISTORY" on Edge browser and was still "SIGNED - INTO" one of My Accounts (but did NOT Sign Out when left lol)

Also OPENED a pinned tab and was still Logged - In to One of My Accounts ALSO after several hours (Am sure) !!!

Is there an option on some sites to timeout AFTER in-activity of a specified amount of time OR in a PARTICULAR browser with an add-on OR extension to Sign - Out of My Account OR ALL Accounts

Help APPRECIATED and advice and opinion is MOST Welcomed

Sure.  Banking and stockbroker sites time out logins automatically.

OR in a PARTICULAR browser with an add-on OR extension to Sign - Out of My Account OR ALL Accounts

It's possible, but I'd be surprised.  There would be thousands of different sites, all with different signout procedures.

In the abstract, something along those lines is conceivable.  A plugin would have to bind tightly enough to the browser that it could detect real activity on a particular site (not just keepalive packets).  If there was no activity for x minutes, it would delete all cookies from that particular site.  However, this concept has a gaping hole in it - which is that not all sites validate and/or certify logins by cookie.

The simplest thing to do is set the browser to clear all cookies on logout, then close the browser when not in use.  This requires no software and will work 100% of the time.
