Migrates websites from 2008R2 to 2016

Need to Migrate IIS7 (2008 R2) websites to IIS 10 (2016). Is there a free tool to do this?

Anyone tried this - https://www.assistanz.com/steps-to-migrate-the-websites-from-iis-7-5-to-iis-10/

Thanks

You can also check IIS easy migration tool (IEMT)

Before applying on production systems it is better to prepare test lab and apply the solution and test.

Thanks Shaun, I will try it this weekend. Is there another way or a manual way to copy the data over if the tool fails?

Hi Shaun, I tried the tool and it did copy the data but only from the default inetpub folder. We have tons of other websites under a different folder called as Websites. Is there a different command to include that location to the backup? Command I used from the website was

msdeploy -verb:sync  -source:metakey=lm/w3svc/1 -dest:package=c:\Site1.zip > WebDeployPackage.log

Thanks
