Background

background folder. If I choose a pictures folder from my pictures and then I decided that I do not want to keep that folder in the background selection see image. How would I remove it so the only thing that will show is just the default pictures that comes with windows 10. In other words if I someone can tell me where is the folder location I chose and go to that location and delete it from there will that also DELETE it as well from my pictures ?

Where it says "Choose albums for your slideshow" on your graphic, click on the "Browse" button and select C:\Windows\Web as the folder. There will be at least 3 folders in there called 4K, Screen and Wallpaper. If the pics from your pictures folder still show up then you may need to do some registry fiddling to get rid of cached images. Let's see how you go with just changing the above setting first.

Yep, will be able to do that without deleting the actual "Main My Pictures Folder" . using the process I described above. The BROWSE button only tells Windows 10 where to look for the pictures you want displaying. You can change that anytime you like without needing to delete any physical folders.

By default, unless they have been changed, Windows 10 defaults to the folder (and subfolders) of C:\Windows\Web - You can use the BROWSE button to revert back to that folder at any time you like.

I hope that's helpful.

Regards, Andrew
