skype for business, office 365, outlook

I sent a meeting invite to an external vendor yesterday - and since then I have continuously received several accepted emails ranging from 2-10 minutes apart.

is there any way to stop

I have my mail box in 365 and using Skype for business

Outlooks keeps sending me 'Accepted' emails repetedly

I suspect your vendor has accepted on a iPhone and it is continually resending the acceptance - I get it all the time with the CEO!

Give him a call, ask him to disable his calendar*  on his iPhone  and re-enable it after a minute.  It'll resync back up again and you'll stop getting acceptances.  

*(just check its not a local only calendar first as otherwise its goodbye calendar)

Other than that, you can put a rule in to auto delete the acceptances as they arrive or block them at server or scanning level.
