RDP access denied from one computer

I have 2 users at two different sites who are receiving this error this morning logging into our terminal server which is Windows Server 2012 r2.  Access to remote session is denied. If they move to another office PC, they can remote in fine.

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You haven't applied log-in restriction in Active Directory for those users, only allowing particular machines?

No, I have not.

Are the failing PCs up to date? There has been an update in May to deny unpatched RDP clients still using a vulnerable CredSSP DLL for network authentication (KBs 40 934 92 and 40 931 20). Some links to more info:

You should see the reason in the terminal server event log. The RDP client does not report details, for security reasons.

Yes, they were installing updates in the background which I assume was causing this, after updates they were fine.
