Has anyone had experience on converting PDF files to Visio 2016?  I lost my folder that had all my Campus Visio Diagrams but have the PDF versions.  Any help here would be appreciated.

I seriously doubt you're going to have any luck doing this.  They are two completely different formats.  You're likely just going to have to redo them and start making backups.  At least you have the PDFs as a guide for what they should look like.

The only way I can think to get a PDF into VISO is as an image import  (import using the image menu) and I am not sure that is what you are looking for.

Now, I have seen on-line sites like this: https://pdf.wondershare.com/how-to/convert-pdf-to-visio.html but I have no idea if they work and/or how safe they are.

Even if you do it will just be a non-editable blob.

Please give the points to Lee who responded first, but I just want to confirm what he said: there isn't any way to recreate a Visio diagram from a PDF automatically. A PDF doesn't contain any of the information that would be required to build Visio shapes, their connections and relationships.
