VMWare: remove old snapshots

I made a couple of snapshots while I upgraded a server.  Everything has gone well so I want keep what I have.

What should I do?  There seems to be a few options like delete snapshot and consolidate.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Delete snapshot is what you want.  If, for any reason, it fails to delete, I believe consolidate is there to clean up.

You should always delete all snapshots.

If needed to consolidate vCenter will let you know.

So to delete snapshots always go for thr first option.
