Income and Expenditure Software for the home user

I'm after a simple to use budgeting program. Preferably free but will pay for something that's awesome too.

Just keep in mind this is for the home user to categorise their income/expenses and track their spending.  I want to be able to import my bank transactions and have the program automatically categorise them.  If I need to set up a new category, I expect to be able to rerun the categorisation for all transactions.

Anyone know of a program that will fit this need?

Thanks and appreciate your input.

(I'm at the point of developing something myself but just hate reinventing the wheel)

Have you looked at Quicken?  It is very popular, not that expensive, and should do most (all?) of that.

Looks like it might do what I want but it doesn't look to be available in my area... there's also no way of testing it that I can see... Have you used Quicken? Can you confirm that it'll do what I'm after?
Not sure about re-running categorization, but the rest should work.
Yes, I have used it.

Where is your area?

Australia.  Look, thanks and appreciate the suggestion but I've found moneybrilliant.com.au and it really is brilliant and free.  Easy to hook in my bank accounts etc too.  When I first saw it, I only thought it was for mobiles (apps).

Again, thanks.
