Z-Index Issue

I'm using bs-select and the select box, when opened, showed underneath the page header. I've tried setting the z-index but that doesn't seem to be working. Does anyone know how to correct this?

The link to the page is below and if you click on the "Change Category" dropdown you'll see what I mean but I've also attached a screenshot.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

There is a overflow hidden rule on the #content element (the main hero that the menu is hiding behind), when removed your select menu appears normally.
