Can't connect to AWS! Check your credentials and make sure your AWS accout is active!

I am getting an error after uploading a Theme to Wordpress hosted on AWS.  Has anyone seen this before and know how to fix it?

I know account is spelled wrong.  That is how it is spelled in the error.

Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

If your site did not give this error beforehand, I am not sure why any theme would specifically need AWS details so I would treat the message with caution. On no account, in my mind, should you enter credentials for your AWS account in any theme or extension unless you 100% trust that those details will not be abused.

I'm logged in and everything seems to work fine.  I also figured I would just take it with caution and not concern my self with it at this time.  Thanks.

If you have already entered any details, it may be a good idea to change your credentials. Out of interest, what theme was installed? I hate to jump to conclusions, but I prefer to err on the site of caution.

I did not enter details.  Actually, it did not give me an area to add details.  I thought maybe it was an AWS thing but I doubt AWS would have misspellings.  The template came from Envato Market and the Theme is called Mezzo.

I agree that a spelling mistake in AWS is unlikely (though naturally it is possible). I would search the template files (and any other files that make up your site) for this exact string, specifically the misspelling. That way you can identify whether it was indeed your site presenting that error, or a resource that your site references. At least that way you can be more certain.

The template source is certainly credible, so one would think that they would check templates and extensions before publishing them.
