Windows 10 Turn Off
i have upgraded 3 pcs from windows 7 to windows 10 all lenovo systems when you shut the pc down the system shows as off put the power light is still on the machien and you have to hold the button in for 5 secons for the machines to fully power off
i have tried to
turn fast boot off within power options
turn hibrenation off
reset bios
i am out of ideas
system has all the latest drivers and windows updates

Name your Lenovo models, please.
What age are these machines? Upgrading in place from Windows 7 to Windows 10 mostly does not work well in my experience. All our client machines are Lenovo.
For sure, update BIOS, Chipset, Video, Power Management, and all other drivers. Double check this: 4 BIOS updates out in 2018 alone.
Once done, update Windows 10. 3 Windows 10 Rollup upgrades plus Patch Tuesday just this month (September, 2018).
If you still have issues, take one machine and do a Windows 10 Repair Install from the Microsoft Media Creation Link.

Are these laptops or desktops? If laptops what happens if you pull the power plug to the battery?
i found it can take half aminute or so to completely power off - and longer with HDD's

these are pcs not laptops the fans still run all night after telling them to shutdown they are lenovo towers i have even used the latest iso file for windows 10 ran all drivers and updates.
Try my suggestion, it takes only a minute.
