What did you edit the PDF with?  I use Adobe Acrobat for editing PDF files.

There are two possible reasons due to which you find the problem. First one is Adobe Reader because it can be only used for viewing, printing and commenting purpose and not for editing. However, if you want to edit PDF, it is necessary to have Adobe Acrobat program. With this Acrobat application, you can easily perform multiple operations on a PDF document.

Also, as you said “you can't click on anything” it might be possible that your file is secure, due to which you can’t perform any operations. But, if you have purchased the Adobe Acrobat then you can use it to remove PDF security for editing, otherwise, there is another utility named as SysTools PDF Unlocker which is available at low cost. This application removes restrictions from PDF documents without any hassle.
