How to find out the wireless range abilities between 2 different Wireless Access Points

How can we compare the range or performance of 1 specific HP access Point vs 1 specific Aruba Access point.

At m y work we are planning on migrating from an old HP System that is using:
- HP E-MSM466
- HP MMO 6 Antenna J9659A

To a brand new wireless infrastructure that will be using Aruba Instant AP-325
http://www.securewirelessworks.com/Aruba-IAP-325.asp

My question is: How can we judge the range that the new wireless AP will spread to vs the older model?

From what I have researched it is stated that the ranges differ by country.  That makes sense because I think that the power provided by the AP will help determine the range.  Different countries have different power standards.  But, if that is the case then theoretically speaking there should not be any difference between the range with the older AP's and the new AP's.  How can we tell?

Aruba is suggesting to add more APs than what we currently have in place(with the older system); but we want to compare the 2 and research what the expected.  Right now we are hoping to do a 1 for 1 replacement regarding wireless access points.

Looking at the current production Access Point "Radio Configuration"

- HP E-MSM466
- HP MMO 6 Antenna J9659A

.. has 2 radios.

Both indicate the 'Antenna Gain[/b'] = 2 dbi
Both indicate that the "Transmit power control" MAX = 22 dBm

But the set power to = 19 dBm (79% of max)

How can we estimate the wireless range to be for the new Aruba Access Points Instant AP-325, if the new APs are setup optimally?
I use on my iPhone, the Airport utility.  I then scan and compare the RSSI levels.  The lower the RSSI, the higher the signal.  If you happen to have an android, there are other utilities you can use too

OK, Yes i have an android.  I have tried RF signal tracker.  That was not helpful.
for Android, my coworker uses an app called WIFIanalyzer
