I have a HP Scanjet 7000 scanner connected to my Windows 7 computer. &nbsp;The scanner has been working great until two weeks ago.<br />

When I power on the scanner, the words &quot;warming up&quot; appear in the display window for about 30 seconds. &nbsp;Then the machine powers itself off. &nbsp;<br />
<br />
When I switch the power button on the back of the scanner from on to off, then on again, the words &quot;warming up&quot; appear, then the cycle above repeats itself.<br />

What could be the problem?

I have a HP Scanjet 7000 scanner connected to my Windows 7 computer.  The scanner has been working great until two weeks ago.

When I power on the scanner, the words "warming up" appear in the display window for about 30 seconds.  Then the machine powers itself off.  

When I switch the power button on the back of the scanner from on to off, then on again, the words "warming up" appear, then the cycle above repeats itself.

What could be the problem?
