Connect Dell Poweredge R740XD 4port 10GBe to 10GBe T-Base Switch Options

I'm buying a new Dell PowerEdge R740XD with a 4port 10GBe NIC and am looking into the best Switch to connect it to. We are primarily a Cisco Shop so I've been looking at Cisco Catalyst 3850 series. I'm looking for everyone's opinion here.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I think the 3850 only has 10GB uplink ports, which will be SFPs and not work with you NICs. I would look at the Cisco Nexus switches. They are going to be more expensive but you will get 10GB rj45s.

i spoke with a Cisco Engineer today and I can use 3850 or 9300 to achieve what I was looking for. The 9300 has 12 10GBe copper ports available.
