So to break things down, I have a PS3 relatively old but still in good condition. Played a lot till one night I turned it on after having all the connections plugged into the correct slot, there was no picture on my T.V, no music/sound, the fan was very low/slow and after 10-20 seconds the green light switched off and not the standby mode coloured red, it was as if the power connection was disconnected. I looked it up and tried to understand what was wrong and all I got was that I needed to replace the hard drive. I even tried to unplug everything, waited a couple of minutes then reconnected to try again only to get the same issue.

please can someone guide me?
is it the hdd the issue?
