Assuming that the user does not retain email that arrives in their inbox and only relies upon the email inside of the Group folder, does the email that appears in the Group folder, count against the user's inbox size limit of 50GB?<br />
I was thinking of creating a group and then moving a large amount of emails from my inbox into that Group to reduce the inbox usage. Will that work?<br />

Office 365 Groups have a separate storage, so yes it is possible to use Office 365 this way. The problem is like with shared mailboxes - there are some emails which should not go there for security purposes. Also, I am pretty sure that somewhere in Microsoft documentation there is a note that &quot;you cannot use shared mailboxes for archiving purposes&quot;. Have not seen the same piece of information concerning Groups, though.
