Exporting a Hyper-v virtual that has a checkpoint
I have a Windows 2012 R2 Server running Hyper-v
I have to move one of my virtuals to a new host so I exported it to the new physical host and created a new virtual with it.
When I booted it, it had an old configuration.
I realized that the server has a checkpoint so I am assuming when I booted it on the new server it booted from the base instead of the checkpoint?
If this is true:
i) How can I boot from the checkpoint?
ii) How can I stop the checkpoints on the original server and make it a non-checkpoint virutal
Thanks

It my just be semantics but when it asks to revert back to a Checkpoint, the checkpoint is actually the newer snapshot right??
So it shouldn't be going back, it should be going forward?
Thanks.
