"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

According to the driver manual, this device is fully compatible with 10.11 El Capitan, 10.10 Yosemite, 10.9 Mavericks
10.8/10.7 when you change the OPT I/O mode you have to refresh the OSX Audio-Midi Setup
10.6 S/PDIF only (opt i/o not pressed in)
10.5 and earlier not supported

My question to you is are you using ADAT (pushed in) mode or SPDIF?
