Desktop Fax Software
We are able to send Fax from desktop... What we cant do is use our company letterhead fax cover sheet.... Pick multiple documents to send as one fax. Does anyone know of a software that can do this?? Software that will still allow are fax machine driver to still deliver.. not looking to install a fax server.

They are trying to get this done without having to stitch documents together via scanner.. .They want to do this strictly from the desktop.
I do not know of any fax software that does this. Fax is largely old stuff now and not used much.

We are LEGAL... Fax is God still.
Fax does work, of course, but in any Fax situation, I have to assemble the documents to send. I have not seen any other way.
I believe what you are asking for has been built into Windows (specifically, the FAX wizard) for Windows 7 and later. Before that it was necessary to assemble the documents in Word and then FAX the Word document. Still relatively easy, though.

Can you not build/combine the document before you fax it?

@Dr.Klahn Windows Fax and Scan requires a fax server... I only have a fax machine that has drivers allowing you to fax from desktop.
What are you using to send out your fax's from the desktop now? (which software). Do you use VOIP for your phone system? If so which service? Do you use a multifunction device like Xerox workcenter that has the ability to fax/connected to the internet? If so which brand/model.
let's see if we can find an option that will work that you already have.

One option is to create letterhead in MS Word as a template and use that to start documents you will fax. I just saw your post about your fax machine. Which fax machine are you using?
By "drivers", do you mean (a) Windows drivers that make the FAX machine look like a FAX modem to the Windows system, as identified in Device Manager, or (b) some kind of user-level application software that talks to the FAX machine, or (c) both of the preceding?
If the answer is (a) or (c), then Windows FAX and Scan should be able to handle the device.

If you are looking for a non-cloud / local option and a non-server / peer-to-peer option, a solution may be a client application which costs something. Short of a cloud or server-based option which will give you more features, a richer stand-alone client which costs something may be the only good option.
It would be worth a call regarding standalone clients like http://www.ventafax.com/ventafax.html and http://www.snappysoftware.com/ to see if they can simply send to a networked fax device.
There may be cheaper, worse options but I think something more feature-rich is going to cost ...

I am using the fax drivers for a Canon iR-ADV 6265 multi-function machine. I can also use the fax drivers for a Konica C368 series Multi-function machine.
Then it should be possible to communicate with the device through Windows FAX and Scan. If it's not installed, install it and see if it will recognize the FAX driver.
I would check Canon and Konica's websites to see what they offer (bundled for free or otherwise) ... maybe you've done that ... sometimes their free offerings aren't excellent but will work well enough.
On the cannon, it looks like you can set up multiple profiles for faxing http://downloads.canon.com/iRADV6200Srs_eman/contents/1T0002091109.html and when you print/fax http://downloads.canon.com/iRADV6200Srs_eman/contents/1T0002091110.html. To set up the cover sheet to use in the profile, http://downloads.canon.com/iRADV6200Srs_eman/contents/1T0002091108.html.
I use a xerox workcenter. Instead of using the cover sheet option there, we use a ms word template that mimics the letterhead.

One other thing I need addressed is the ability to send multiple documents via one fax attempt and without have to stitch or print and scan multiple documents to make one document.
>>the ability to send multiple documents via one fax attempt
I have never seen this in all the years of setting up fax systems. Most fax drivers are designed to treat each job separately, as merging them might inadvertently send the wrong pages to the wrong person. This is why the fax software often has the ability to generate a cover page on the fly -- so that you don't have to do this any more.
The two solutions to this problem that I've seen are not pretty:
a) As mentioned by John in the first reply, print each document, collate as needed, then send via normal fax machine or scan&send via fax software. This wastes a lot of paper.
b) Strangely, this hasn't been recommended yet: Print both documents to PDF files, use Adobe Acrobat to merge the documents into a single document, and then send that one document. I don't think Adobe Reader has this functionality, so you will probably need the full Acrobat software. There are several online services that purport to do this for free, but in a legal environment, I'd be worried about using any external service. I'd also be very careful about the many low-cost downloads, as you never know what they might come with.

If you are scanning from an electronic document, scan the above pile including cover sheet into a PDF and fax that. That works as well.
