Cannot access a specific website

My domain a 2008 R2 server on a 192.168.0.X.
I can nearly view all webpages but there are a few that have recently started to give errors when I try to access them.
I get the error in firefox or similar on other browsers:
We can’t connect to the server at www.facebook.com.
If that address is correct, here are three other things you can try:

    Try again later.
    Check your network connection.
If you are connected but behind a firewall, check that Firefox has permission to access the Web.

I suspect it may be a DNS issues bu tsince I can view any other webpage just a few specific how can I tell?

You can ping facebook from the cmd and see if it resolves.

Are there any other PC's on the Network?

If so, do they have the same problem?
there may be content filtering in your network or in its dns forwarders that disallow social sites.
there may be content filtering in your network

That's exactly what I was thinking David, but wanted to know if the issue was with only this device or if there were others experiencing the same problem
There is too little information here. Give us more detail on how the network is laid out.

David's point about filtering is a good one. DNS, which was also cited, is another likely possibility.

Okay Guys My network is 192.168.0.X on a Serve 2008R2. There is a firewall 192.168.0.2 and server Domain controller 192.168.0.1.
The DNS is setup to resolve to the local server and where it can't it points to the ISP DNS server.
There is no content filtering or website blocking the network is open to traffic.

I can browse websites but specific few that tells me the page is unavailable. However when I switch to my other ISP I can resolve without any issues. can you please advise? I suspect its the ISP but they said they are resolving with DNS.

I am able to ping the websites in question, perform a nslookup as well.

If this is an issue on my local dns please advise how I may proceed and if it is the ISP please advise as well....I don't know how to proceed.

If I ping to facebook.com (one of the website I can't connect to) I get a reply and if I ping to the IP address 157.240.14.35 (facebook svers) I get a reply.

When I nslookup I get the following:
>facebook.com
Server: XXXXXXXX (my local sevrer)
Address: 192.168.0.1

Non- Authoritative answer:
Name: Facebook.com
Address: 157.240.14.35
Try entering the ip "157.240.14.35" into your browser and see if that works

Try clearing your browser cache and history and see if that makes a difference as well
The DNS is setup to resolve to the local server and where it can't it points to the ISP DNS server.
Are you using forwarders or no?

Your ISP being the issue wouldn't be impossible (or at least those DNS servers that you were using). What happens if you use DNS servers OTHER than your ISP's?
Change your DNS settings to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 and see if the issue goes away.  If it does, it's the ISP.
