This Stanford instructor is excellent. I watched this series years ago. Not sure if it has been updated for modern C++11/14/17.<br />

I see they have an L version instead of B, but looking at the lecture subjects, i am guessing that the B will be more gentle for a beginner. Her lecture on movies (i.e., watching linked lists morph from one state to another has been very helpful for EE students struggling with pointers.
