I need to Install MS Project 2016 (Volume Licensing) and Office 2016 (Retail) on the same Windows 7 PC
I have a windows 7 laptop where I have MS Project 2016 installed. This was installed using the volume licensing program.
However, I need to install MS Office 2016 which I purchased retail.
I'm having an error message appear (see attached) and I can't install office 2016.
I need to have both apps on my laptop. There has to be a way this can be done.
Help.

Can someone translate those links? I've been working in technology for decades and I don't understand what they're telling me to do.
I have Project 2016 installed using the Volume Licensing thing.
I want to install the retail office 2016 professional.
What do I need to do?

Can you be more specific what you don't understand?
The link I posted, under "What can I do about this" seems pretty obvious:
1. Follow the steps in Uninstall Office 2013, Office 2016, or Office 365 from a Windows computer to remove the Windows Installer version of Office. [BASICALLY, Uninstall]
2. Retry the installation of Office you were doing when you got the error message. [BASICALLY, RE-INSTALL]
3. Use the link provided by als315 to install via Click-To-Install version of Project. This seems pretty easy to follow (at least to me) if you're in technology... if this is not your area and you can't follow along, I'd setup a test system to try it on a few times to learn it... or hire someone who understands it to do it for you.
