MailboxSentItemConfiguration in Exchange2010
For a mailbox hosted in Exchange 2010 you can set 2 values for the Set-MailboxSentItemConfigu ration according to the below MS article:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powershell/module/exchange/mailboxes/set-mailboxsentitemsconfiguration?view=exchange-ps
-SendAsItemsCopiedTo
The SendAsItemsCopiedTo parameter specifies where messages that are sent from the mailbox using Send As permmission are are saved. Valid values are:
Sender: Messages sent from the mailbox are saved in the Sent Items folder of the user who sent the message. This is the default value.
SenderAndFrom: Messages sent from the mailbox are saved in the Sent Items folder of the user who sent the message, and in the Sent Items folder of the mailbox.
This can be set for both SendAs as SendOnBehalf permissions independently.
However when I open the settings for the mailbox in OWA, I'm able to set it to a third option which is 'from' (see screenshot #1):
Which changes the attributes to 'from' which is not a valid value according to the above MS article (see screenshot #2).
It seems as if the 'from' value is not working which makes sense as it's not a valid value according to the article but why is that option available in the OWA then?
Kind regards
Glenn
