Access for external users to an O365 shared mailbox

I think it is not possible to provide access to an external user on O365 shared mailbox for a tenant. Please refer below article:

You can use Office 365 Groups instead of shared mailbox since groups have a guest access model for external collaboration that shared mailboxes do not.
