Was wondering, if anyone has any ideas on how to convert a .xps file format to excel, any version; and, hopefully, to keep some of the formatting.
I know it is likely that there may not be good way of doing it. But, wanted to give it a shot at asking.
Using Windows 7 Enterprise. Using mostly Office 2013 and 2016.
XPS is a file format somewhat like PDF in that it is meant to be locked down to prevent editing. How big is the file you are trying to convert? If it's just a form you might be better off just rebuilding it in Excel.
Microsoft Excel topics include formulas, formatting, VBA macros and user-defined functions, and everything else related to the spreadsheet user interface, including error messages.
