add a digital stamp to an invoice

I have a physical stamp with some info on it and I stamp invoices and then I scan them to email addresses.  Is there a way to take a plain sheet of paper, stamp it and scan it as a jpeg or a pdf and then when I get these invoices I somehow "add" the pdf or jpeg of the stamp onto the invoice?  What would be the best and easiest way to do this?  I have a mac computer and a windows computer if that matters.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

First, I would create an image (with a transparent background) for the stamp, as discussed in this EE article:
Signature Image with Transparent Background

Although that talks about signatures, it will, of course, work fine for whatever is in your stamp. Next, I would create a Stamp for it that can be used in Adobe Acrobat, as discussed in this EE article:
Create Signature Stamp in Adobe Acrobat

Once again, that talks about signatures, but will work fine for whatever is in your stamp. You may even place the stamp with the free Adobe Reader (i.e., does not require the non-free Acrobat), as shown in this five-minute EE video Micro Tutorial:
How to create signatures in the free Adobe Acrobat Reader DC software

Again, that's about signatures, but will work fine for whatever is in your stamp...just use the Image tool, not Type or Draw. Regards, Joe
