HP Printer Scanner Copier - Scan input tray jamming

Customer hanging to scan one at a time rather than several ....

It’s 4 years old and Wasnt used that often

Open the back of the printer (the double sided device) and look for bits of paper. Remove the paper tray and look for bits of paper.

Gently clean the feed rollers with a lint free cloth dampened with Isopropyl Alcohol.

Clean any areas you can, and then shut down the printer, restart and try scanning.

Things may have dried out form lack of use and it may need repair (not economical, so consider replacing).

I use my own 8610 all the time and it continues to work well after 3 or so years.

It prints ok

It's the scanner feed tray that jamming
See if you can clean the scanning rollers with a swab on a thin stick. I am not at my printer this week, but I think you can get in there.  If the rollers are rubber (to pick up the paper), they could have dried out.
