I received the two pop-ups when I launched Outlook this morning.   After acknowledging the pop-ups Outlook launched successfully

any reason I have got these (attached)

How big is your OST file and were you on the network at the time?

Yes I was on the network
It is big but how can that cause the issue

50GB or bigger and it'll blow the file apart, if it's less than that just work it as a "This happens sometimes" and move on :D

it could have been a network glitch which then caused it to time out, if it's just happening on one machine I'd really not worry too much. It could have had services trying to start or just some network lag. As you said it worked immediately after and didn't come back so there isn't really any sort of investigation to carry out.
