Excel - Add Data to One Cell, Date and Time Automatically Added to Neighboring Cells

Excel - three columns.

Write something in column C & press enter / tab, etc.  As soon as the data is added to cell in Column C corresponding cells in Columns B & A auto fill with Date & Time.

So that, if I added - ordered cotton fabric to cell C2 I'd get

(A2) 10/6/2018  (B2) 3:55pm  (C2) ordered cotton fabric

Any way to achieve this?

Many thanks!

It would need VBA. Can you attach an example workbook.

Hi Roy,

When I saw your kind  reply I felt grateful.  Thanks, Roy!

So far have no workbook.  Need a way to implement the concept, then I can start to see if Excel can be used in this clever (could-be-clever? :D ) way.

Many thanks,

Gentlemen,

You humble me with your genius!  I feel very lucky to have such great help.

Please give me a day or so to implement as I am quite terrified of Excel and Macros.

Sincerely,

OT

Hello Gentlemen!

Still tinkering with.  Not sure I understand how they work.  Didn't want the question to linger as if unattended to, so please keep an eye on any replies to this one if you can.  I may need help.

Feel grateful to you both!

Thanks!
