For the Router/UTM - SonicWall, Watchguard, Fortinet all have reliable products, though I do prefer SonicWall

For Wirless VLANS/DMZ's I've used Access points from Engenius and Ubiquiti (different deployments, not combined) and have found both to be reliable

I can't stand sonicwall or Fortinet (after recent issues).  I recommend and have used at all my sites for years, Untangle.  In addition I would recommend Ubiquiti access points.  This means your router and access point (wifi) are NOT on the same device.  Generally a better practice anyway.

Can't uninstall it.  Ever try to uninstall the forticlient?  I've been going back and forth with someone on it and it refuses to allow me to uninstall.  Never seen a VPN product REFUSE to allow me to remove it.    But I'm not asking (yet) for help.  I'm actually a Fortinet partner and know a couple of others who have stopped using them for various reasons.  I used to include them in my recommendations but the more I've heard others comment on them, the more I'm inclined to not recommend and this latest incident is very irritating to me.

Routers
Routers

A router is a networking device that forwards data packets between computer networks. Routers perform the "traffic directing" functions on the Internet. The most familiar type of routers are home and small office cable or DSL routers that simply pass data, such as web pages, email, IM, and videos between computers and the Internet. More sophisticated routers, such as enterprise routers, connect large business or ISP networks up to the powerful core routers that forward data at high speed along the optical fiber lines of the Internet backbone. Though routers are typically dedicated hardware devices, use of software-based routers has grown increasingly common.
