Need to export iPhone Outlook contacts to PC Outlook contacts

Greetings wise wizards of EE:

I'm helping a friend who has an insane amount of contacts in the Microsoft Outlook app on his iPhone (and not via iCloud). He wants to export these iPhone-Outlook contacts into his personal computer copy of Outlook. I have no idea how to do this, and all Google searches reveal only syncing iCloud contacts or PC Outlook to the native iPhone contacts app, which is not what I am after.

Any instructions or links to the process would be most welcome indeed.

Many thanks in advance,

contacts ...  and not via iCloud)

Install iTunes on the computer with own Outlook, hook up the iPhone and set up Sync. Be sure Sync is set to go from phone to Outlook.

Greetings John:

Many thanks for the suggestion, but I don't think that is what I am after... what you suggest will sync the iPhone contact list and not the contact list in the iPhone's version of Outlook... they are two separate lists.

I am after syncing/exporting & importing iPhone Outlook contacts to PC Outlook contacts.

Any additional thoughts?

Greetings John:

Many thanks for your follow up, I certain do appreciate it.

The link that you sent is definitely worth a look... I will try it out for certain, but it looks like it might do the trick. It is odd that there does not appear to be a native export feature in the iPhone version of Microsoft Outlook on the iPhone, as I have searched, but I will be more than satisfied if this third party app will solve the issue.

Unfortunately, the PC is not using an Exchange account, so the third party app seems the way to go!

I will return to this posting in a few days and let you know the results... thanks again!

Thanks for the update. I hope the article assists you.
Greetings John:

Many thanks for your very helpful suggestions and link. I visited my friend, and discovered that it is an exchange account, and thus his company administrator will create the account on his PC, which hopefully will populate his contacts as well.

I greatly appreciate your time and response... may the wind be at your back!

Take care,

Zovoth
