On the Outlook settings, have you made sure to set the &quot;Requires SSL&quot; checkbox to yes/checked?<br />

Have you also done the same on the outgoing(SMTP) server settings? along with &quot;Requires TLS&quot; which should be enabled if available. along with &quot;Requires Authentication&quot; checked as well. <br />

Also check your port numbers just in case, POP: 995, TLS/STARTTLS: 587<br />
<br />
also the server names are: pop.gmail.com<br />
and smtp.gmail.com<br />
