Fortigate Unable to Change from NAT mode to transparent mode

node_check object fail! for opmode transparent
Attribute 'opmode' value 'transparent' checking fail -651
Command fail. Return code -651

While changing NAT mode to transparent mode on fortigate 200E version 6. Help

I've never encountered this error, but a quick lookup suggests this is an error with proxy.http  You need to make sure that, in application control, you do not block proxy.http.

I think this could also happen if you're using explicit proxy as you try to go into transparent mode.  I'm totally guessing, but I think those two modes have different network requirements.

Please note that we encountered this with the 200E series of firewalls, the previous/below versions 200D works just fine no problems, with these one too much hassle. Thanks.
Please note that a FortiGate is rather picky when changing certain features or entries that are used, or used in a way that conflicts with certain changes. As changing the operation mode to transparent excludes quite a few features that are available in routed/proxy mode, I assume you will have to dig through several of the system config options in order to remove the offending options. Maybe it would be easier to just download and backup the current settings, do a factory reset and start with an empty config in transparent mode ...
