I just installed NSX 6.4 on vSphere 6.5 and on the NSX console, I am seeing the below messages scroll by every few seconds:

Any ideas on what it is related to and how to stop it?

Thanks

hpet1: lost 1 rtc interrupts

The high-precision interval time is losing clock interrupts because something in the system is running at a higher priority and runs for so long that the system was unable to service the interrupt.  What this might be, I can't imagine.  On a real, hardware-based system I don't think it could happen.

Speculatively, and this is pure speculation:  The host system has a high-priority process that periodically consumes so much time that the virtual machine is unable to service clock interrupts.  But if that is the case I would expect to see other similar problems in the VM.

It's a serious problem, though, and if it continues the system clock will drop further and further behind real time.

That is an interesting observation.  However, there is only one VM running on the same ESXi Server which is vCenter VCSA.

I suppose i can migrate / move vCenter to the other host to see if this eliminates the issue...but it seems unlikely
