I'm following the instructions found in the Microsoft URL below for installing Windows Admin Center.

This URL says to"Run the following command to install Windows Admin Center and automatically generate a self-signed certificate:"

msiexec /i <WindowsAdminCenterInstallerName>.msi /qn /L*v log.txt SME_PORT=<port> SSL_CERTIFICATE_OPTION=generate

What value should I enter for the <port> value?

I need to install the Windows Admin Center on both a Server 2016 server and a Windows 10 computer.

When you install Windows Admin Center on Windows 10, it uses port 6516 by default, but you have the option to specify a different port.

It is best to leave it as default, unless you have any other specific reason for changing this.  For example, the port is already in use or maybe for certain security reasons.

What is the default port number that should be used for Server 2016?

The reason I am asking is because when I try to run the command as indicated above and in the website it errors out unless I enter a port number.

Commented:
For Windows 2016 the default port is 443.
