The last error that came up is configuration is not all there. The system configuration I suspect is missing some parts. I seem to recall a few years ago, there was a set of cmd's to copy and replace the system files?
Do you DVD to try a start up Repair?

Otherwise you may have to back up the drive and reinstall
John, not sure how to DVD start up?
If you start from the OS DVD it should offer the option of Startup Repair or Repair. See if that happens
Well there is the problem. I have no DVD from the user to do this. It is windows 7 and I have a windows 7 OS DVD will this do? This DVD is to load the OS on a new or to re-image? I need to make sure the guys data is safe. Once I pull the data off I can re-image if needed. This why I was hoping to fix the system files.

here's how to repair win7 :  http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/3413-repair-install.html            REPAIR
Nobus, I think I will give this a try. I will download the ISO and try this out and get back to you both. Thanks so ,much. I will let you know.
Be sure you backup first to be sure you protect your data
I have a USB with a SATA connector that I can pull the drive out and back up the data first to make sure that is safe then start to see if I can repair the system files and if not I will just re-image. I will keep you all up on this as I have not seen this error before but I have seen something similar. Protecting the data is my first need.
Thanks for the update.
John, it was the hard drive. I connected to a sled to try to clone the data and it says no media found. It does see the drive but no data. I plugged the drive into another computer and it again sees the drive but no data. I will replace the drive and re-image. Thanks for all the help from all.
Thanks for the update.
Your very welcome. I was not sure I distributed the pints right so it should have been 50-50. You both helped and the information was very good.
The split is decent. Thank you.
Both had great answers that will be very useful down the road. I should be thanking you all.
