This will give you great speed, and longer durability, but I guess you coauld try a big flash drive (way cheaper) and see if your game saving doesn't suffer performance issues, frame drops, etc., if you can , try flash first, see if it works before investing in ssd.

I plan to start recording my gaming sessions. What would be a good internal HDD (or SSD, whatever) for that? I only have one drive slot left in my desktop computer. I imagine that write speeds and write durability would be the main criteria for that task. I don't plan on keeping the recorded sessions for very long so I don't think I need tons of space. This drive would be exclusively used for this purpose.

Storage recommendations for game recording

Computer games are video games played on a personal computer, mobile device or video game console.
