Updating printer driver from server
Hi guys,
I just got a Kyocera printer 3040dn added in server2016. And it’s shared from there to user’s computer. No group policy.
Right now it’s just having old drivers. If I want to update the driver. Can I just go to printer properties -advanced tab and then add the new driver for server 2016 from there.
And then if I remove the printer in user computer and re add it again with share name, will it work fine ?? Or do I need to add the drivers for client computers os in drivers too ??

So the printer driver I am gonna update is just for 2 users. So if I update the driver from sever with server version of driver.
Can I just ask the 2 users to remove existing printer and re add it again with share name ? Will it work straightaway ?
