User cannot save documents to shared folder from within Office Applications.

User cannot save files to network drive from within Word, Outlook, Excel. Additionally she cannot insert links from the network drive into Outlook. She can browse and open files without issue. She can save the file locally and the copy it to the network. It does not make any difference if she is saving an existing file or saving as a new file. She cannot save the file to the network drive from with office applications. She can save/create new/delete files using windows explorer.

The issue started 2 days ago. About the same time she experienced and issue with Windows Explorer crashing, when the navigator pane was open the the windows was minimised or moved between screens. This corresponded with the explorer windows flashing repeatedly. Although this was demonstrated to me prior to starting work I did not take any action to fix and have not been able to replicate since I started troubleshooting other issues.

No other users are experiencing the same issues.
She is running windows 10 pro, office 365 business. Symantec Endpoint Protection Cloud, Offline files
I have run:
dism
sfc
I have deleted temporary offline files.

Any assistance would be appareciated.

Thanks

No other users are experiencing the same issues.

Create a new, test Windows User Profile (Account) on this problem computer.  Log into the new, test Windows Account, set up Office and test saving documents.

Test and please let us know

Raoul,

As John was saying, the issue may be a little deeper. The reason he suggested this is as of late windows loves corrupting profiles and if any other issues become apparent you may have to wipe the local profile off and reload and import data. This causes a decent amount of issues from doing what you are trying, using cortana or even the windows search bar.

Yes I do have another user that will need to have their profile wiped and recreated.

And another that as yet has unidentified issues causing slowness in a network app.
Raoul,

Are these users on the same computer or different ones? If a single machine is having issues for multiple users like this, then it may be time to scan deeply for malware.
I have another user on this network. Different pc. Where I have confirmed issues within the profile.

I have another user at different organisation that is experiencing slow app.

But this concern as detailed is apparently resolved. Just resetting the user password corrected it.
