KMS not activate my servers
Hi Experts,
we are using KMS since one year.
But now we have a problem with one location. In this location the KMS is activating my clients, servers and clients.
Do you have any ideas ?
I have checked on site on the DNS, the _VLMS record is listed.

is TCP port 1688 open from this location to the KMS server? And does the firewall on the KMS accept traffic from that locations subnet on TCP port 1688?
1. Check the clients by running slmgr /dlv from command line to verify what KMS they are pointing to.
2. As Pete states: check clients can reach port 1688 on KMS. You can do this with telnet if it's installed by running telnet kms-server 1688. If you get a black screen and no error, then port 1688 is open for communcation.
3. Check Applications and Services Logs>Key Management Service log in the event viewer on the KMS itself. Any errors? Any activations?
