I am developing applications in Access 2013.  When I open some of the application I am developing there is a 'search...' option as the second line in the navigation pane.
Navigation Pane SearchThis is very helpful in large application because it filters the list of objects (tables, Queries, Forms etc..) using whatever string I enter in the 'search...' field.

However, the 'search...' line doesn't appear on the navigation pane in all of my applications.  I don't remember doing anything specific to make the 'search...' appear, or not appear, and I don't see any 'Current Database' options that seem relevant to this.

I would like it to appear in all of my applications.  How do I turn it on for all applications?
