Exchange 2013 - adding additional server to DAG, how to configure the drives

I'm adding an Exchange server to our 2013 DAG just temporary. The current exchange servers have the OS on C:, and Exchange Program files on D. Does the new server have to match because we don't have the same space, can i just install Exchange on C:? I know the DB's have to be on the same mount point.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

The databases must absolutely match.

The installation locations should match, but I do not believe that it is required.

Agree with Micheal. It should match as the server will copy database and logs to the same location of the 1st server.
