Tools/ways to convert/port softwares to portable version

Is there any way/tools to convert/port softwares to portable versions:
I'm looking at converting freewares like ATube catcher (a video
downloader), WPS Pdf to Word converter, PDFsam.

Curious how virtualization tools that do P2V make the various
softwares work esp when migrating from say physical Win2003
to virtual Win2008R2 VMs : must be along similar lines

Think Cameyo is a trial copy;
I'm Ok to use trial as long as after converting to portable,
the ported apps/softwares can continue to run after the
trial expired.

Which of them are free & ideally easy to use?

Thanks v much;  give me a couple of days to test them out
before closing this thread.

Curious: by porting over, will the license/serial key that was
entered during installation also get ported over:  I have an
old Win XP that have several licensed softwares in them
that I would like to port to my Win 10 x64: have seen that
most 32bit apps will work on the 64bit Win 7.  So will the
licenses from Win XP still work on Win 10 ?
