I would like someone to help me please in hopefully making the scroll bar on the right side of the screen more darker so that I can see it better. See screen capture. It seems to be worse on Word or other applications.

Hi Basem.

Is the second pic you've uploaded Microsoft Word? If so, then the only way of changing the colors of its interface is to change your office theme.

In Word, click File > Options > General and take a look at Office Background and Office Theme settings. See below.

Word_Options.png
In so far as your Top example graphic goes, that looks like the Chrome browser? If so, then you would need to apply a different "Skin" to Chrome.

Look here for the different Theme skins that are available from the Chrome Web Store

https://chrome.google.com/webstore/category/themes

There's a ton of different themes to explore and choose from at the above link.

There are no settings to darken the scroll bars in Chrome or Microsoft word, though you could experiment with your Windows 10 settings which could make a difference, but that would change things all over the place, not just in the browser or Word.

I hope that's helpful.

You are right again. The first screen capture is Chrome browser and the second is Word 2016. I will give that a try and see if that makes a difference, Secondly, What you stated here "though you could experiment with your Windows 10 settings which could make a difference"
I am not going to mess that but for my own curiosity what are settings are those you referring to?

Thank you Sir

in Word 2016 it was set to colorful already. I selected other options and they were not any better. I have visual impairment.

How to find out what is my current theme in Chrome just in case I changed it to something else that I did not like.

Hi Basem,

You can have a fiddle if you like, no harm should come of it. If you right-click anywhere on your Desktop and select "Personalize", then you will get a settings screen with Backgrounds, Colors, Themes etc. If you explore and experiment with different settings there, it could help make a difference.

in Word 2016 it was set to colorful already. I selected other options and they were not any better. I have visual impairment.

Did you try the other settings like Dark to see if that would help? There's not much else you can do with Word 2016 unfortunately. Here's an article you can read on changing Microsoft Office themes from Microsoft.

Unfortunately, that's about the only thing you can do in so far as Office goes.

Your current theme is just Chrome defaults. Changing back would simply mean uninstalling the theme you try and it will revert back to its normal state.

By the way, the link I gave you above has quite a good little short video on the page as well. Take a look at it as it might be helpful to you :)

Thank you sir but the high contrast I think it made it worse. I am not used to it. Thank you anyway. God bless you.
