Tablets - Remote Access - Maintenance Jobs

Good Afternoon Experts,

Just a general question really..

I have about 20 tablets that are being used by our employees who are out and about around the country.

I was trying to find out if there is a way to do a remote desktop connection to the tablets so that i can run maintenance jobs on the tablets.

Instead of the employees bringing them back to the office to have the maintenance jobs done to save time and effort.

I use ConnectWise Control to manage a variety of devices and in my opinion it is a better option than RDP.  It's only $42/month for unlimited devices.  It can also be installed through Group Policy and has an administrator friendly interface.

You don't mention what OS you're dealing with, but AirDroid will work on Android devices, as will Bomgar.

Android
From the ConnectWise site:

ConnectWise Control also provides limited support for most Android devices and full remote support for Android tablets and phones manufactured by Samsung. While Samsung provides the most comprehensive access for ConnectWise Control, other devices can also be supported in a view only mode, allowing techs to assist and chat with guests.
Nothing general available. The best is to make your own app that do the task that are you need . It's not very complicated if you have a good Java programmer. Moreover, you don't need "RDP" like access ( not the smart choice while impact to privacy !), just a "daemon" in push mode that can do ... tasks.
Basic security task is integrated in Exchange, but I guess that you are talking about different things.
