There is NOT really a BEST PRACTICE to P2V a Domain Controller, because it's generally NOT RECOMMENDED!<br />

and the usual approach is to build a new server, add the AD Role, and Sync AD, and then decommission the old DC, and transfer the roles to the new VM.<br />

BUT..... you do not really have the ability to do this....<br />

So therefore all that is available to you is Disk2VHD<br />

BUT..... you do not really have the ability to do this....

So therefore all that is available to you is Disk2VHD
