ASKER

they all designed to work well with OSDB like MariaDB and MySQL  ?
Hadoop uses a private storage method (Hbase) for high perfomance access.  but can import data from mysql/mariadb

Scriptella uses JDBC to access SQL data sources/targets ==> mysql/mariadb should be among those.

Pantaho Kettle can use MySQL as its core repository
any URL on how its architecture work with MariaDB?
Here are links how to use MySQL or MariaDB (MariaDB is still a plugin replacement for most of MySQL's options).
